Beaver Fleming Goes Big at Bowl-a-Rama

February 28, 2017

Skateboard pro and Nitro Circus star Beaver Fleming competed in the General Pants Bowl-a-Rama in Bondi Beach, Australia, for the first time this year, and surprising no one who has seen him shred, he destroyed. Bowl-a-Rama is an incredible proving ground as Australia’s biggest skateboarding competition. It attracts the world’s leading up-and-comers, seasoned pros, and a masters division featuring legends like Tony Hawk and Steve Caballero. Beaver placed fifth in the overall standings, a great result for a first-timer, and he won Big Air with a 10-foot backside air. He also definitely scored some Nitro points by being one of the more entertaining performances of the competition while at the same time introducing tricks that have never been seen at this event. Like so many of his Nitro compadres these days, Beaver put together a vlog of his trip Down Under, which includes a sick hip flip at a local skatepark, as well as some footage of his runs in competition. Check it out in two parts below:

This is Beaver Fleming’s second big finish of the year, and he is just getting started. Earlier he picked up the prize for Best Trick with a World First at Simple Session 17. Nitro Circus live is heading to Australia next, so check this link to see where we’re stopping!
