Foster and Buckworth Highlights From the BMX Triple Challenge

January 11, 2017

Over the weekend Monster hosted the first stop of the BMX Triple Challenge, a three-city event that has the best BMX dirt riders competing in a cool format around the U.S. Riders included Nitro athletes James Foster and Andy Buckworth, along with Brandon Loupos, Colton Satterfield, and several BMXers who competed in the 2016 Nitro World Games. With a star-studded list of invited competitors along with open qualifiers, all sorts of awesomeness went down.

Riders get a chance to show their best tricks over two jumps — simple as that. Buckworth and Foster missed the podium — and Buckworth nailed a no-hander double backflip followed immediately by a no-hander frontflip, because BMX is getting bonkers — but we’ve got highlights for you to prove they didn’t go down easy. Next stop on the circuit: Glendale, Arizona, at the end of January. Check out some video and more photos below.

Foster killed it in this run:

And check out this superman seatgrab from Buckworth:

Loupos also showed up big:
