Highlights From the 2017 Australia Tour Opener
With the first two legs of our 2017 world tour in the rearview mirror, the Nitro Crew arrived in Australia firing on cylinders and ready to throw down. Despite the hot weather, the Dubbo show kicked off what is destined to be a tour for the books. Everyone had an awesome show, including FMX veteran and unofficial team captain Steve Mini, who got a chance to stick his signature backflip heel-clicker superman no-hander landing in front of his hometown crowd. Check out the massive combo in this highlights clip:
You’ll also see Ryan Williams sending a super clean nothing front bikeflip in that video. He stuck 15 out of 16 jumps in Dubbo, a massive number of attempts with an inhuman success rate for a single show. But the MVC in Dubbo went to inline phenom CJ Wellsmore, who hadn’t ridden a Nitro show but came out swinging, sticking even the unusual stuff we like to throw at new riders, like the shopping cart jump and the Nitro Golf segment, where he made it into the Zorb on his first attempt.

What an unforgettable weekend its been. I'm So thankful to have been a part of the @nitrocircus Australia tour. I wouldn't have been able to perform the way I did without the amazing support I was given from the whole team, Such an incredible bunch of guys. Thankyou so much for the award of MVC for the show. A memorable moment never to be forgotten. Cheers 🍻
And check out these shots (including a sick POV from Andy Buckworth looking down the Giganta Ramp during practice) from around Dubbo and the day of the show:
