ISA Championships Teases the Scooter Event at Nitro World Games

June 20, 2017

Scooter fans are in for a treat, as we get to watch the best of the best compete twice in two major competitions in a week. The International Scooter Association World Championships at Imagin Extreme Barcelona took place last weekend, with five of the top 12 positions going to riders who are set to compete in the Nitro World Games, which will go down in Salt Lake City on June 24, broadcast on NBC, and streaming live at NitroWorldGame.Live. At the ISA finals, NWG runner-up Jordan Clark claimed podium space with another second-place finish, former ISA European Champion Roomet Saalik came in third, three-time ISA World Champion Dakota Schuetz came in fourth, NWG qualifier winner Cody Flom took sixth, and Dylan Morrison came in 12th. The competition was close, upping the ante for the Scooter Best Tricks event. Fans of fantasy sports will want to check out the Nitro World Games Fantasy Competition if they think they know how the competition will shake out on June 24. Will Clark win the top spot this year? Will Schuetz avenge his loss of the ISA Championship title with a win in Salt Lake City? And don’t sleep on the Funk Brothers; last year Jordan Clark was flanked by Capron and Corey Funk, who picked up the first and third. Click here for the full list of 2017 NWG athletes.
