Travis Pastrana Takes Second at STPR

The rally duel of the summer continues with a second-place finish for Subaru Rally Team USA’s Travis Pastrana and co-driver Robbie Durant, who missed the top spot once again to Subaru teammates David Higgins and co-driver Craig Drew at the Susquehannock Trail Performance Rally. Travis was in the top spot going into the second day of the event, ahead of David’s team by over a minute because of mechanical failures early in the day. But David’s team made up the time after Travis’ team went off-piste and blew a tire. Travis has never won at STPR, a challenging course with narrow roads and punishing hair-bend turns. With only two more events this year, Travis has a tough road ahead to the American Rally Association National Championship. He’ll have to be lucky and good to overcome David’s lead in points, but then, being lucky and good is kind of Travis’ thing. Check out some highlights from the weekend here:
