Come Ride with Ryan Williams and Fellow Nitro Circus Stars Kurtis Downs and Beaver Fleming During Special Master Class Sessions

Butlin’s Minehead Arena | 28 June – 1 July 2019

Fresh off a 2018 world tour, culminated by two nights at London’s legendary O2, champion athlete Ryan Williams has now been announced as part of this summer’s Nitro Circus: Weekender. The first ever Nitro Circus immersive multi-day event is coming to Butlin’s Minehead Arena 28 June through 1 July. This family friendly experience is a special opportunity for fans of all ages to go inside the big top and get an up-close look at the leading sports entertainment brand.

Williams will lead two master classes on a purpose-built pump track and mini ramp that are open to all riders of all skill levels. Joining him are fellow Nitro Circus teammates Kurtis Downs (X Games BMX Big Air bronze medalist) and Beaver Fleming (Nitro World Games Skate Best Trick 2nd place finisher). In these sessions, fans can meet the best in action sports, ride with their heroes and learn new techniques from the pros, one-on-one.

“We’re definitely looking forward to Nitro Circus: Weekender. We are so stoked to meet our fans and get a chance to ride with them at such a unique event,” said Ryan Williams. “I remember how important my mentors were to me coming up, so I’m excited to share what I’ve learned over the years and give back. Inspiring the next generation is what it’s all about.”

Williams pushes the limits on both BMX and freestyle scooter and is considered by none other than global icon Travis Pastrana as the best action sports athlete today. He first broke onto the scene with his incredible scooter riding, going on to compete in globally renowned competitions such as U.K.’s annual Scootfest, take home multiple Nitro World Games trophies and land too many world’s firsts to count. These achievements have gone viral thanks to Williams’ huge social media presence, including more than one million Instragram followers alone. Williams has since redefined freestyle scooter which has exploded in popularity among Millennials (as detailed in Rolling Stone).

Always in search of a new challenge, Williams then started honing his BMX skills, which soon also became a highlight of the Nitro Circus show. He has landed numerous landmark world’s firsts on BMX, such as the first BMX triple frontflip. Invitations to prestigious competitions followed and in October 2018 Williams took home a coveted gold medal in front of his home country at X Games Sydney.
