The family of Erik Roner, all of us at Nitro Circus, and the burgeoning Live Like Roner Foundation are honored to welcome everyone to A Night to Live Like Roner, a charity event full of fun and memories, Aug. 2 at SeaLegs at the Beach on Bolsa Chica State Beach in Huntington Beach, California. The event is free and open to the public starting at noon. At 5pm ticket holders will be welcomed inside for an exclusive gathering to honor the life and legacy of Erik Roner. Get your tickets here while they last.
The event will benefit Roner’s wife, Annika, and his two kids, Oskar and Kasper. A portion of the proceeds will also go to the Live Like Roner Foundation, which will assist other families of action sports athletes in their greatest time of need. A day at Pastranaland with Travis Pastrana is up for auction, and there are a ton of other one-of-a-kind items and experiences available. Head to LiveLikeRoner.com for a sneak peek and to start bidding now in the online auction.
This event is going to be so much fun for the whole family. The list of entertainment is long, but it includes a skydive demonstration, carnival games, great food and beverages, live music, silent and live auctions, and a snow rail jam on actual snow.
On Aug. 1, the day before, the Hurley store in Pacific City is hosting a pre-party from 5pm-9pm. If you buy any Hurley shirt you can have a Live Like Roner logo screen printed on it, and all proceeds will go to the Athlete Recovery Fund, whose mission statement is:
To provide professional athletes in action sports with financial support after a severe injury and granting funds for rehabilitation, equipment, long-term disability and educational scholarships.
