Ryan Williams, the scooter pro turned BMX wunderkind, took home the gold medal in BMX Big Air at X Games Sydney today, with James Foster and Mykel Larrin earning silver and bronze respectively. R-Willy put down his signature nothing front bikeflip into an enormous flair on the quarterpipe to best the world-class competition.
Foster, the two-time defending champion, landed a flip triple whip into a quad whip on the quarter, good for the silver. And Larrin wowed the crowd with a three-trick run: a 360 on the drop-in, into a backflip tailwhip on the main jump, and a triple whip on the quarter.
